2008 Natural Choice Award Winner

Rene teams up with Dr. Eisenberg (D.O.) and Dee Dee Just (M.F.T.) in offering free workshops on health maintenance using an integrative approach combining the best of both Eastern and Western Medicine on the first and third Wednesdays of every month at the Pacific Oncology. FREE Seminar on Chinese Cooking, Chinese Herbal Teas, and Chinese Medicine Options for Health Maintenance
A special 2.5 hour seminar/workshop will be offered to showcase Chinese Food Therapy and Chinese Medicine. The basics of Chinese Cooking will be covered including the mixing of spices. This will be followed by a discussion on the energetic properties and health benefits of the various types of meats, vegetables, fruits, and spices, and how these can be used to maintain good health and to battle illnesses. Also covered will be the top ten most popular Chinese herbal teas (including Jasmine tea, Green tea), their respective health benefits, and what they are best for.
The second half of the workshop showcases the various treatment types used in Chinese Medicine and what they are used for. Stations will be set up to enable an individual to receive a free treatment/demo of some of the techniques. Included in the discussion are:
